I walk backwards into the future with my eyes fixed on my past
I’m passionate about innovation — not just futurism, but also the ingenuity of the past: lost taonga, ancestral knowledge, and the deep connections between history, the present, and what’s yet to come.
To me, design is a tool for progress. It’s how we imagine new futures, build better interfaces with technology, and move visual storytelling forward.
I’m guided by the wisdom of my ancestors — by how they observed the world, connected with nature, and found inspiration in both the seen and unseen. Their principles continue to shape how I approach design today.
My work is grounded in curiosity: a respect for the unknown, a love of learning, and a desire to stay open to the pursuit of knowledge in an ever-evolving world.
